Budget and Finance Committee
The Budget and Finance Committee are
the corporate officers of the Presbytery. They act on behalf of
the Presbytery when churches make requests to purchase or sell real property
and when they encumber that property. This committee also builds the
annual operating budget of the Presbytery and oversees the expenditure
of resources during the year.

includes ministers and elders. In addition COM works with churches to
promote peace and harmony and in many cases is the first resource when

Nominations Committee
The Committee on Nominations provides
the Presbytery with names of persons for election to all of the
committees of Presbytery. They are committed to seeking a wide range of
people from all parts of the Presbytery. The only committee for which
they are not responsible is their own committee. The Council nominates
names to be presented to the Presbytery of the Committee on Nominations

The Permanent Judicial Commission
shall have seven members and will be activated to exercise authority as
described in the Rules of Discipline of the Constitution of the

CPM concerns
itself with recruitment, support, examination and ordination for people
preparing for the ministry of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church
(U.S.A.). This committee also provides for, and supports the
Lay Academy of the
Presbytery. This includes supervising all members of the Presbytery who
are taking courses on line, through the Lutheran Lay School, and at the
Three Lakes Lay Academy. In addition the committee examines those members
of Presbytery seeking commissioning as lay pastors in Mackinac Presbytery.
